HBComics Returns to Wizardworld Philly!

Five years ago, the two brothers from Boston set out with copies of Lazerman #1 to Philadelphia Comiccon to premiere their book to the world.

This May, after sadly having to miss last years event, the HBComics returns to Philly to once again take part Wizard World Philadelphia!

Even though we are from Boston, we have always considered Philly our "home" convention. It's where we started, where we have built up the most friends and largest fanbase...and where we most of all love to go.

This year we are back, bringing with us the brand new Lazerman #9, as well as Mysteryman #1 (new to Philly) , our trade paperbacks, and all our books....plus a few surprises.

In addition, we will officially be announcing an exciting new addition to HBComics, with a new title, and a familiar old face...

So come by the Pennsylvania convention Center May 7-10 and join us for HBComics' biggest show of the year!

Lazerman Vol 2: Night of the Necrolord Arrives in May

HBComics is glad to announce that after several delays, the kickstarter-funded trade paperback collection Lazerman Vol 2: Night of the Necrolord is finally arriving this coming May.

The book is being printed as we speak (a big thank you to Kat at Active Media Printing) and will begin the long ship from the printing facility in China within the next couple of weeks. Allowing for the 4-6 week estimation for arrival by sea, that will bring Lazerman into our hands just in time for a certain upcoming convention appearance in May. Kickstarter backers, however, should start to receive them before then. It will be available on Amazon shortly after that.

Lazerman Volume 2 collects issue 5-7 of the series into trade paperback form, with an additional 25+ pages of bonus material, including never before seen "deleted scenes", production notes, and art from "Green Lantern" and "Flash" artist Ethan Van Sciver!

Convention News! HBComics will attend Wizardwold Raleigh Comiccon in NC

William Shatner! David Tenant! And HBComics!

Just a few of the things you will find March 13-15 at Wizard World Raleigh Comiccon.

This will be our first ever venture into North Carolina as Chris Hebert (artistic director, Artist of Lazerman, Writer of Vindication) represents HBComics at the Raleigh Convention Center for the inaugural Wizardworld Show.

With him you will find all our current in-print comics, including the LAZERMAN Vol 1 trade paperback, VINDICATION #4,  and the all new HBComics' MYSTERYMAN #1.

Chris will also bring artist prints, and will be available for limited commission work (email@hbcomics.com to preorder a sketch)

And if you are lucky, he might just spill some details on the new HBComics projects in the works....

HBComics' MYSTERYMAN #1 to (Finally) premiere at Northeast Comiccon!

After a few bumps in the road (and a couple of unfortunaly push-backs) our new title, 

HBComics' MYSTERYMAN will premiere with issue 1 at NORTHEAST COMICON December 6th!

Well we've been keeping very low-key here at HBComics HQ lately, but no more! Here are our releases planned out through the beginning of 2016...some highlights include:

-Our all new series, HBComics' MYSTERYMAN will premiere in December, 2014

-VINDICATION returns after a lengthy absence with issue 5, the second part of "FRENZY"

-The long awaited, delayed LAZERMAN VOLUME 2: Night of the Necrolord finally arrives in May

-Previously unannounced, VINIDCATION comes to trade paperback with "Volume 1: May you live in Interesting times" collecting issues 1-4
